In what style do you make photos?
Natural style. I prefer neutral colors because they are not affected by time/mode. The main subject of the newborn photo shoot is your baby, so I use minimal props.
A newborn photo shoot should not disturb your little one in any way. My training is provided by photographer Kelly Brown, whose academy in Australia is solely responsible for teaching the specifics of newborn photography.
The goal of the session is to achieve the best images using minimal movement of your baby.
How to prepare for the photo shoot?
Let me briefly explain the routine of the photo shoot for newborns.
I will come to the house where everyone was waiting for his / her arrival and will spend with you two hours.
When I come to your place, it will take me 15 minutes to set up my portable studio and a bean bag in one of the rooms of your choice. It is better to have a spacious and bright room (living room, bedroom ...), but don't worry, I will bring the lights with me as well.
Most of the time the baby will be naked during the photo shoot, so make sure the room is warm.
What to wear?
I have various clothing props for baby which we can look at together before I start taking photos.
For mum and/or dad, it's best to wear cool and comfortable clothing with natural neutral colors. It's better to avoid large patterns or bright colors.
If you have a special item or a gift that is important for you and your family, let's include it.
How long does it take?
Normally around two hours.
As every baby is different. It's important to work in the baby's comfort zone. I don't need to disturb your daily routine. If your baby needs to be fed or changed or cuddled - let's do it, we'll work it all in.
How many images to expect?
A week later, you will receive about 50 images to view and select the best pictures of you and your baby, of your warm and tender feelings, of your loving and caring relationships, which will last forever.
