Île de Ré wedding photographer for relaxed French island celebrations
Île de Ré is made for couples who love wild beaches, whitewashed villages and a slow, seaside rhythm. As an Île de Ré wedding photographer, I get to work with soft light that wraps around the dunes, harbours, giving your photos a gentle, airy feel. The island feels intimate and relaxed yet still special, with bicycles, colourful shutters and long sunsets that make every corner photogenic.
It’s easy for guests to reach, with bridges and nearby airports in La Rochelle, Nantes and Bordeaux connecting Île de Ré to the rest of France and Europe.
She visited our venue before hand in her own time (and not a short journey to an island), she also organised multiple meetings to get to know us and visited the venue the night before. She made sure everything was bespoke to what was important to us e.g. capturing little details and also gave us great suggestions.
All of our guests thought she was fantastic and despite there being >100 guests she got beautiful photos of them all. She really captured the joy of our day and made us forget there was a camera.
She was incredibly hard working and stayed later than organised, sent us a video within a few days and then our photos through a beautiful website very promptly.
The photo book she made for us and our family is gorgeous.
